To add or delete layers

1. Right-click a layer tab.

2. On the shortcut menu, click Add Layer or Delete Layer.

or

1. Click the Layers button .

2. On the Layers dialog box, click a layer to select it.

3. Click the Add Layer button .

or

Click the Delete Layer button .

You cannot delete the current layer. When you delete a layer, all objects on that layer are deleted.
